Our first research seminar in the ‘What Works’ series took place on March 20th to an audience of 100 attendees. The seminar explored what works in careers and enterprise provision, led by speakers Professor Tristram Hooley, Director of Research at The Careers & Enterprise Company and Dr Anthony Mann, Director of Policy and Research at Education & Employers.
Discussions focused on the growing evidence base which supports effective careers and enterprise activities. The speakers referenced clear evidence that schools and colleges should adopt the Gatsby Benchmarks and ensure that all young people have at least four encounters with an employer before they leave education. Highlights from the seminar can be seen in the film below.
