Internal Operations Lead

The Internal Operations Lead is a central role in the organisation, driving delivery of objectives and enabling the smooth running of the Company.

Reporting to the Chief of Staff, you will:

  • manage and drive the delivery of CEC’s programme of activities
  •  provide the reporting and assurance framework to service the Board and DfE and
  • meet the governance needs of the organisation

As a strategic thinker and implementer, you will ensure the timely delivery of streamlined activities within the organisation based on the priorities of the CEO. You will contribute to the long-term success of the company, organising and prioritising critical issues and required information to facilitate efficient decision making by the Senior Leadership Team and Company Board.

You will act as a key point of contact between the Company and Department for Education to ensure robust, transparent and effective reporting against agreed objectives, secure the confidence of the Company Board and build the right management information to drive decision making to ensure the organisation delivers on schedule and lead and provide oversight and guidance on projects of high importance.

Resources Lead

This role will work under the supervision of our Senior Manager – Centres of Excellence and support the drive for quality and excellence in the work of our network. The role will have three key functions

  • Support the identification and scaling of best practice to enable all our stakeholders to achieve high quality and consistent standards of practice in achieving the Gatsby Bench marks and delivering excellent careers education for young people in England
  • Create and commission resources aligned to identified gaps in the market or our delivery model
  •  Support the creation of and manage the library of resources within the resources directory to ensure they are up to date, robust and meet the needs of our delivery model
