Lizzie Beale, 24, is the Careers and Enterprise Company's first youth board member. In her role, she will lead CEC's youth advisory group, helping to ensure youth voice influences and shapes CEC’s work. Lizzie currently works for Heathrow, as their Charity and Community Partnerships Manager and is a volunteer Enterprise Adviser at Lynch Hill Enterprise Academy in Slough. Lizzie has been an #iWill Campaign Ambassador since 2015. Her passion for youth voice has helped inspire her volunteering and social action activities.

Lizzie attended Loughborough University, where she received a first-class honours degree in Politics with Communication and Media Studies. She spent much of her time volunteering, including as the Students Union's Community Development Officer and for the Loughborough Women's Network. She is a former member of the Milton Keynes Youth Cabinet and UK Youth MP for Milton Keynes. Lizzie's aim is to ensure that young people are not only better represented, but that young people are empowered to represent themselves. She would like to see more young people know what good careers education looks like, and use their voice within schools and colleges.
