A Careers Hub is a group of 20 to 40 schools and colleges in an area, working with education and training providers, employers and career professionals to deliver the Gatsby Benchmarks.

Based on the successful pilot in the north east, we will establish 20 Careers Hubs across the country. Local Enterprise Partnerships and Combined Authorities can coordinate bids in their area. This is a key part of the work in our plans to support the government's Careers Strategy

Becoming a Careers Hub

We are running a bidding process to select these 20 areas to become Hubs. Each Hub will be supported with a Hub Lead, Enterprise Coordinators and other resources.

We expect Local Enterprise Partnerships and Combined Authorities will coordinate bids in partnership with schools and colleges. However, in areas where these bodies don’t wish to coordinate a bid, we will welcome bids from other groups of 20-40 schools and colleges.
