Winners of The Careers & Enterprise Company Annual Awards were recognised at our Annual Conference - Joining the Dots on 4 July. Now in their second year, the awards celebrate the inspirational work that has been done by schools and colleges, employers, volunteers and careers professionals around England.

This year, a record number of more than 200 nominations were submitted for the nine award categories, which were selected by panel of independent judges chaired by board member Brian Lightman. Fellow judge, Nick Bowen, Principal at Horizon Community College said:

It was a real challenge to pick the winners because of the amazing quality of entries. They should all be very proud of themselves”.

There were three regional winners for each category, from which one overall category winner was selected. The stories of the winners, and the work that they had all done to support young people,  formed a key aspect of the two plenary sessions during the conference.
