The success of the Enterprise Adviser Network, which now has 2,000 Enterprise Advisers working with schools and colleges in England, was celebrated last week at the Fuelling Young People’s Futures event held at KidZania in London.

The event brought together people from across the network to recognise, celebrate and share in the success of the Enterprise Adviser Network. Throughout the event there were opportunities for Enterprise Advisers and Enterprise Coordinators to learn from practical examples of high impact encounters, hear from Enterprise Advisers and our provider partners including HeadStart and Envision, as well as hearing about select topics from the new ‘What Works’ research series.

The day created a great opportunity for Enterprise Advisers to network with each other to share their stories of best practice and see young people learning and being inspired by the activities they were taking part in. KidZania provided the perfect backdrop for the celebration.

Whilst walking round the mini city, delegates had the opportunity to not only experience some of the activities on offer, such as a fireman, pilot, vet or news presenter, but also hear from the young people from local schools within the network who were demonstrating the activities.

The afternoon sessions saw delegates attending various talks on topics such as Volunteering, Transition Programmes for young adults with SEND and work experience, and see first-hand the new and improved Compass tool which was being demonstrated at the event.

The afternoon’s activities were held in a variety of unique and interesting settings, including a British Airways cockpit and a Cadbury factory, ensuring careers and young people’s futures were always at the forefront of every discussion. Thank you to everyone who attended the event and made it such a success and thank you to everyone in the Network who help us fuel young people’s futures.
