We are jointly commissioning a research project with the Gatsby Foundation, to find out how schools are delivering careers leadership and to highlight the changes put in place since the Careers Strategy in 2017.

The findings will provide valuable insights for supporting Careers Leaders and identifying successes and challenges.

A random sample of secondary schools, including special schools, alternative provision and pupil referral units, are being invited to take part in a survey that asks about the model of careers leadership in each school, the training, experience and role scope of Careers Leaders, the resources and support available, and perceived impacts.

A specialist agency, QRS Market Research, is carrying out the survey on our behalf. The survey will take place in the second half of this Spring term, taking approximately 20 minutes with the option to complete online or by telephone.

Please be aware that QRS may contact either you or your school office email regarding survey participation so we would be grateful if you could ask your school administrator to look out for emails about the research.

The results will be published in the summer of 2019 with messages for Careers Leaders and other key stakeholders. If you have any questions please email research@careersandenterprise.co.uk.
