Who is Gro Organic?

Gro Organic is a programme which focuses on a Learning Outside the Classroom (LOTC) activity-based approach. The programme introduces children to different roles within Gro Organic (e.g. gardeners and wellbeing practitioners), as well as wider roles, through a range of employer engagements.

Based on their 'Roots, Shoots & Wellington Boots' programmes, their approach involves inviting guest speakers and employers to work with children on outdoor activities, as well as some light touch parental engagement via an online platform.

Mainly: Pupils

Types of schools: All mainstream schools, SEND, Urban, Small, Large, State, Public, EYFS to Y6, Junior.

Year Groups: Year 1, Year 2, Year 3, Year 4, Year 5, Year 6, EYFS.
