Customer Content Manager

The Careers & Enterprise Company’s suite of digital products enable our customers to work more efficiently and deliver the impact they need to support each young person to take their best next step.

The Customer Content Manager position has been created in response to the successful growth in user adoption of our digital products. Reporting to the Head of Customer Management, the postholder will lead the development of our content for our digital products across all of our customer-facing channels.

They will work closely with colleagues, stakeholders in our network and customers to support wider engagement across the sector leading to improved acquisition, activation and retention of customers.

You will work closely with colleagues across CEC to shape the delivery of innovative ‘self-serve’ initiatives to attract more schools to start their upgrades and engage existing users to help them realise the full potential of Compass+ in their schools.

Lead the day-to-day management of contractors, agencies and partners who support the creation and delivery of our content.

Senior Corporate Affairs Manager 

We’re looking for an exceptional communications and engagement professional to join us as our Senior Corporate Affairs Manager to lead our strategic approach to engaging influential stakeholders who are in pivotal positions to affect change for young peoples futures.

 

World class careers education requires engaging lots of institutions and stakeholders to work together in a focussed, strategic and co ordinated way for young people across the country. Key is ensuring careers education continues to elevate its status within the skills and education agenda for policy makers and that key influencers in the system collaborate with us meaningfully to achieve our mission of helping every young person to take their next best step.

 

This key role for the Company brings together and oversees three key areas to enable our influencing work in support of our strategic objectives: 

  • Government, stakeholder and partner engagement 
  • Corporate Communications 
  • Internal Engagement 

 

This is a highly visible role requiring strong leadership with high levels of collaborative and matrix working. Excellent communication and relationship building skills are essential, as is the ability to manage up and down confidently.

Senior Officer- Engagement and Communication 

As the Engagement and Communications Senior Officer, you’ll work in the External Affairs team to help us communicate our corporate messages and key campaigns externally and oversee our internal engagement and communications to our employees across our organisation. 

 

You will be a key ambassador for our company values and central to driving our impact, ensuring our corporate messages, external work and our key audiences are well understood. You will help to foster brilliant collaborative cross company working, enable employee voice and work closely with all teams and our staff forums, ensuring the senior leadership team are engaged and kept informed regularly on this important agenda.  

 

You will also play a key role in communications to our Network across the country (Careers Hub Leads, Enterprise Coordinators and Enterprise Advisors) and our LEP and local authority partners.

Product Manager / Junior Product Manager

As a Product Manager at The Careers & Enterprise Company, you will be working day-to-day on products that will help to improve careers education nationally. You will shape the future of our tools for schools and other key customer groups by delivering product enhancements and shipping new features.

 

Reporting to the Senior Product Manager, you will be a key member of our Data & Digital team.
We empower our product managers to understand user needs and solve difficult problems, while ensuring that our products support the company’s overall strategy and goals.

 

Your track record working with delivery teams, and your highly collaborative approach with colleagues and stakeholders will ensure that complex feature development is understood, well managed, prioritised and communicated to the wider team, internal stakeholders, and end users.

Data Analyst

The Careers & Enterprise Company places strong emphasis on data and evidence to drive impact across the Careers Hub network to improve outcomes for young people. With the development of digital tools for Careers Leaders, young people and wider stakeholders, we now have large-scale and growing data that has the potential to provide new insight into effective practice, progress and gaps for the sector. Over 90% of England’s schools and colleges are tracking their careers provision against the Gatsby Benchmarks, 2,000+ secondary schools are using the Compass+ career management tool and during the first two terms of the Future Skills Questionnaire, 20,000 students self-assessed their career readiness.

 

We are looking to expand our analytic capability with the appointment of a Data Analyst who will work alongside researchers and business intelligence analysts. The role will design and deliver high quality analysis of a range of data sources that supports CEC and the network to achieve our strategic objectives. The candidate will have expert data analysis skills, experience of designing research to address policy and practice evidence needs, and strong skills in communication.

 

The role will report into the Head of Research and work closely with the Data team.
