This could include school, college, university, apprenticeships, alternative provision or home schooling, or any jobs or work experience you’ve had. Share what you enjoyed, what you found challenging, and anything that shaped your experience. You can also tell us if you’re currently not in education or employment. We’d like to understand how your experiences influence the perspective you’d bring to the Youth Advisory Group.
Careers support is any help, advice, experiences or opportunities that anyone (such as parents, school/college/university, peers, employers) have given you has shaped your education and career choices. Tell us about any experiences you might have had (or not had!), especially those that have influenced or supported your decision making when thinking about your career journey.
Being career ready means young people are equipped and feel ready for the world of work. Feel free to share any ideas you have – big or small. Our vision is for the careers system to be inclusive and accessible to all young people.
You can share any personal experiences, skills, or interests that you think would make you a great addition to the group. You don’t need formal experience - skills like teamwork, communication, creativity, problem-solving, passion, curiosity (and many more!) are all valuable.
