The Careers & Enterprise Academy is the online home of careers leadership for Careers Leaders and all those who work with them to plan and deliver strategic, progressive careers programmes.
The CEC Academy provides learning opportunities for those working in settings for all ages and phases from primary through to FE and ITPs.
The learning content provides opportunities to build foundational knowledge as a new Careers Leader, and then develop deeper skills, including using our digital tools to drive impact, and how to engage parents/carers in careers. This is supported by a homepage exclusively for Careers Leaders with a data and learning dashboard, a checklist highlighting key actions and a handy newsfeed alerting users to new content and events.
To support the release of updated Statutory Guidance for secondary schools, colleges and special schools, the Academy now includes a homepage exclusively for Careers Leaders in those settings, with a data and learning dashboard, a checklist highlighting key actions and a handy newsfeed alerting users to new content and events.
Our online learning for those working in a primary school setting aims to drive forward the growing and increasingly impactful work of primary school teachers delivering career-related learning. It forms part of a progressive primary educator learner journey providing support whatever their starting point.
Tailored content for those in other roles including Education Leaders, Governors, teachers, SENCOs and the wider education workforce is also available here to help everyone effectively play their part in helping young people find their best next step.
