What do Enterprise Advisers do?

As an Enterprise Adviser, you’ll bring your expertise and leadership to help shape modern, high-quality careers education, with a particular focus on supporting those who need it most.

Influence and inspire

Work side by side with Education Leaders to shape progressive careers programmes that embed high-quality, inclusive workplace experiences for all young people.

Co-design modern workplace experiences

Team up with educators and fellow Enterprise Advisers to put the employer voice and expertise at the heart of modern work experience - getting involved in design, delivery, or both.

Connect and champion

Use your own networks to help schools and colleges connect with employers, and champion modern work experience across your business, community, or sector.

Why your experience and insight matters

Nearly one million young people in England are not in education, employment or training (NEET) but you can help change that by making careers education relevant, inspiring and meaningful.

The skills gap narrows when business and education work hand in hand. You bring skills insight directly into schools and colleges, helping shape real-world careers experiences for young people.

Too many young people, especially those with the fewest connections, miss out on workplace experiences. Your insights help reimagine work experience beyond traditional placements to create inclusive, flexible and progressive opportunities.
