Ready for the Future: A review of Careers Education in England 2021/22
This report is a national review of Careers Education in England focusing on 2021/22. It addresses key questions for the careers system, charting progress and identifying opportunities to enhance impact in the future.
It draws on a national data set of 4,200 secondary schools and colleges (84% of all state funded schools and colleges) as well as the first year of student responses to the Future Skills Questionnaire (FSQ). The results were compared with data from previous years, new emerging data sets from a sample of schools and employers, and wider evidence published during the last year.
