Thomas Dudley Ltd, a manufacturing company, and Dudley Multi Academy Trust have been working together for a number of years, securing local young people valuable experiences of the workplace but also engaging teachers, through the Teacher Encounters programme.

The Teacher Encounters programme run by Thomas Dudley Ltd in the Black Country Careers Hub, offers brilliant experiences to teachers to their local manufacturing plant, providing insights into what modern careers looks like and the local opportunities available to their young people. The initiative has had a significant impact on the schools and businesses in the Hub, including changes to the curriculum and an uptake of local businesses getting involved in the programme.
