Careers Leader training - a guide to getting started

Funding eligibility
Funded training is available for Careers Leaders or relevant personnel in all state-funded secondary schools and colleges, including SEN and AP and Independent Special Schools. For more details on how the funding works, please read ourFAQs.

Select a course and training provider
The first step is to explore our training providers and decide which course and provider are right for you. You can also use ourcomparison guide or watchoverview videosof each course.

You can speak directly to the provider about any queries you may have regarding their course, including start dates and course requirements. 

Register
Once you know which course and training provider you wish to enrol with then you are all set to take the next step and register. You can do this directly on the training provider’s course page or by using the button below.

Bursary
On completion of the course, you will receive a £1,000 bursary to spend on any expenses acquired (e.g. staff cover) or on furthering your CPD or careers education programme.
