Angela Noon OBE joins CEC’s Board as new Non-Executive Director

The Careers & Enterprise Company is delighted to welcome Angela Noon OBE as the newest member of its Board. 

Angela is the Group CFO and Executive Board Director at FTSE 250 company Spectris PLC, serving on the Supervisory Board and Audit Committee of Just Eat Takeaway N.V. She brings extensive leadership experience from her roles at Royal Mail Group and Siemens AG, where she held senior international positions over a 23-year career. 

Angela has long championed skills development and workforce productivity. In 2021, she was appointed by the Secretary of State for Education to Chair the UK Skills & Productivity Board, advising the government on aligning education with the skills employers need across the country. She previously chaired the CBI's Economic Growth Board, helping shape economic strategy during a pivotal period of post-pandemic recovery. 

Her commitment to public service and education was recognised in 2022 when she was awarded an OBE for Services to Education. In 2024, she received an Honorary Doctorate from the University of the West of Scotland, where she completed her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
